Mosaics
Working with Color
Color plays a key role in my mosaic work. I carefully select shades and materials to achieve harmonious combinations, expressive depth, and a dynamic interplay of light. In each mosaic, I experiment with color—using smooth transitions, unexpected contrasts, and complex multi-layered combinations. It is important to me that every piece not only enhances the space but also conveys a specific mood and emotion.
Roman Technique
I study and apply the Roman mosaic technique but use it selectively—only when a particular project requires it. This method is known for its durability, precise lines, and distinctive tesserae placement technique. In my work, I combine the traditional principles of Roman mosaics with contemporary artistic approaches, adapting them to various styles and design needs. This allows me to create mosaics where the classical technique serves as a foundation while leaving room for creative experimentation.
Mosaic in Interior Design
I create mosaic panels and decorative elements for interiors, helping clients make their spaces truly unique. My works can be used to decorate walls, furniture, kitchen backsplashes, fireplaces, floors, and bathrooms. Each piece is custom-made, taking into account the architecture, lighting, and overall color scheme of the interior. This is an art form that not only adorns a home but becomes an integral part of it.
Mosaic Jewelry
In addition to large-scale interior projects, I create original mosaic jewelry. These include pendants, brooches, bracelets, and other accessories made from natural stones, smalti, glass, and ceramics. Each piece is handcrafted and one-of-a-kind. I enjoy working with intricate details, crafting miniature mosaics that can be worn as works of art.
