Watercolor
Watercolor is a medium I appreciate for its transparency, lightness, and natural flow. In my work, I experiment with soft edges, smooth transitions, and delicate plays of light, creating images filled with airiness and movement. Working with watercolor introduces an element of unpredictability and liveliness to the process, making each piece truly unique. Lately, I have been particularly drawn to botanical watercolor—I am studying and exploring it, enjoying the opportunity to capture the intricate details of natural forms, shades, and textures.
Oil Painting
Oil painting allows me to work with rich colors, dense layers, and complex textures. I love this medium for its flexibility and depth, which enable me to refine intricate details or, conversely, create expressive, energetic brushstrokes. In my oil paintings, I explore the interaction of color and form, using layering techniques to add volume and intensity to my compositions.
Acrylic Painting
Acrylic painting appeals to me for its versatility and the ability to combine various techniques. This medium allows me to experiment with transparency, texture, and color dynamics. With acrylics, I can work with delicate glazes or thick, textured brushstrokes, achieving bold contrasts and a powerful sense of energy within the composition. The fast-drying nature of the paint adds spontaneity to the process, ensuring that each piece remains vibrant and emotionally charged.
